From the very first days of the full-scale invasion, the teams of the National University 'Odesa Law Academy', the International Humanitarian University, and Kyiv University of Intellectual Property and Law, under the leadership of Sergiy Kivalov, united their efforts and immediately began providing comprehensive support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, Territorial Defense Units, and other military formations defending the territory of Ukraine.
Over the course of two years of war, students and faculty members of these universities have conducted hundreds of charity events in support of soldiers, donated blood for wounded defenders almost every month, allocated part of their salaries to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and delivered tens of thousands of rations, equipment, and material resources.
While the National University 'Odesa Law Academy' distinguished itself primarily by high rates of blood donations for wounded defenders and financial support, Kyiv University of Intellectual Property and Law took the lead from the beginning of the war in providing material and technical assistance to the defenders, particularly by producing camouflage nets for military personnel. The University Student Council, the trade union committee, the entire faculty, and all other university staff have actively participated in the making process of these nets.
